Amanda Penecale is an artist and illustrator based in Ocean Grove, NJ, creating work rooted in story, nature, and a deep sense of place. With a background in music and songwriting, Amanda approaches every painting or design seeking to evoke an atmosphere and tell a story. Her work grows from time spent in the garden and observations of everyday life, creating thoughtful pieces that celebrate color and natural forms and feel at home in both historic interiors and contemporary spaces.  

She offers a petite collection of prints and originals inspired by her love of tiny cottages and the art of decorating small, meaningful spaces.

Amanda holds a BFA in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design, a Master’s in Education from Arcadia University, and a certificate in Botanical Illustration from the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. She currently teaches high school art in New Jersey and is at work on her first picture book.
